Thank you to all the families that contributed to the Valentine's Day Treats for Teachers surprise! It was a big success and the teachers and staff really enjoyed it! Stay tuned for more upcoming opportunities to show our teachers how much we appreciate them, including a spring-themed surprise for them in April and Teacher Appreciation Week in May!

We are so excited to see the amount of participation there has been in the BASIS Goodyear Read-A-Thon! What a way to celebrate Read Across America Week! In addition to the students earning prizes, we are earning money for our school!

The student with the highest donations raised between March 2nd and March 10th will get to THROW THE FIRST PITCH at the SPRING TRAINING GAME on Tuesday, March 14th at 1:05 p.m. at Goodyear Ballpark! The winner will be announced on March 13th!

The grade with the highest donations will get a PIZZA PARTY!

Any student that sends 10 text messages through their dashboard will automatically be registered in a drawing for a WALT DISNEY THEME PARK TRIP!

The Read-A-Thon ends on March 16th, so it's not too late to register and get started today!

Get your spring cleaning done and help raise money for our school at the same time! Donate gently used items to Goodwill at 15433 W McDowell Rd (corner of Pebble Creek Pkwy and McDowell Rd) on Saturday, March 18th from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Anyone can participate!  Just tell the staff at Goodwill that you are dropping off your items for the BASIS Goodyear Boosters fundraiser!

The Mister Softee Ice Cream truck will be visiting BASIS Goodyear after school on Friday, March 24th. Kick off the weekend with a cold treat! Prices are listed below!

Come have fun at Chuck E. Cheese in Goodyear on Friday, March 24thfrom 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m and 20% of your purchase will come back to support our school! You will also get 10 free play points with a food purchase!

The Kona Ice truck will be visiting BASIS Goodyear after school on Friday, March 31st. It will be located on the south side of the school near the kindergarten gate!  Prices are $3, $4, & $5 and $6. Exact change would be greatly appreciated by Kona Ice.  If you have already purchased the refillable cup – be sure to bring it with you & receive a $3 refill!

Due to the popularity of this event last year, Boosters will be hosting another fun night at Main Event in Avondale on Thursday, May 4thfrom 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Stay tuned for details and tickets will be available for purchase on the Boosters website. The event sold out last year, so be sure to get your tickets fast!
